...If only hacking Sburb was as safe as just breaking the law. Someone should have been more careful when they messed about with the code of something that can twist reality and destroy whole planets. Now the game is corrupt, and the session isn't going to go as you expected.
Maybe you're trying to play and you get dumped into a complete stranger's session. Maybe you find your land melds into someone else's halfway in a mess of frost and cogs. Maybe you weren't playing at all, but the meteors start falling and suddenly you have to find someone to help you get in there sharpish.
And thanks to the interconnected nature of the sessions (otherwise known as wobbly-wobbly reality-schmality stuff), even perfectly legal sessions can be corrupted. Not even the law-abiding are safe.
The manual isn't going to do shit for you this time, kids.
